Governor of the Eastern Province launches “Mosqpedia”  the international encyclopedia of mosque architecture .

“Abdullatif Al-Fozan Award For Mosque Architecture” has launched an international encyclopedia of mosque architecture last sunday ,January 24th ,2021. An official ceremony has been done for this purpose under the patronage of HRH Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, the ceremony has been also attended by Mr. Abdullatif Al-Fozan , Mr. Abdulallah Al-Fozan and Prof Mashary Al Naim.

HRH Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz the work appreciated development of Abdullatif Al-Fozan Award for Mosque Architecture and it’s contributions to the mosque Architecture worldwide  , he praised the establishment encyclopedia as an aunique reference for all those interested in mosque architecture includes worldwide.

The encyclopedia three main sections: “Mosqpedia”, the platform of worldwide architectural . all, architectural informations, images and dialogs for mosques,. “Asfaar”, which is the encyclopedia of books, references, researches and audio-visual materials about mosque architecture, and lastly “Manaber”, the database of all architects, researchers and professionals working in the architecture of mosques.

It is noteworthy that the Abdullatif Al-Fozan Award for Mosque Architecture was launched in 2011 and is part of Al-Fozan Social initiatives .
