The Abdullatif Al-Fozan Award for Mosque Architecture concluded a memorandum of understanding with the College of Environmental Designs at the International Islamic University of Malaysia. This MOU has been signed on sidelines of the Second International Conference on Mosque Architecture held in Kuala Lumpur last November 2019. The MOU was signed by the Secretary-General, Professor Dr. Mashary Al-Naim from the award’s side and Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sapian, Dean of the College of Environmental Designs, from the IIUM. The agreement leads for cooperation in the areas of mosque architecture and the exchange of information about mosques in the Far East and Malaysia in particular.
