Continuing The Mosque Building Codes Workshops at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

As an initiative of His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdelaziz, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Abdullatif Alfozan Award for Mosque Architecture, the award signed an agreement with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawa’h and Guidance in May 2019,  to prepare a special code and measures for building mosques in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which will regulate building process of mosques according to the Saudi building code. Accordingly, this mosque building code will lead to providing a better urban and architectural environment for mosques and will lead to savings in consumption Energy and water. These proposed building codes consist of 9 sub-chapters dealing with engineering, service, legal aspects, and other related aspects.
