Al Fozan Award signs a memorandum of understanding with the International Centre on Earthen Architecture” CRAterre” at National Superior School of Architecture in Grenoble, France

On the sidelines of the jury meeting of third cycle of the Abdullatif Al Fozan Award for Mosque Architecture held in Paris from 21-23 January 2019, Dr. Mashary Al Naim, Secretary General of the Award, signed a memorandum of understanding with the International Centre on Earthen Architecture” CRAterre”, Grenoble, where Dr. David David Gandreau signed this memorandum on behalf of the CRAterre Center.

The Center will work on documenting mosques in Central and West Africa within Mosqpedia project. The two sides will also work on preparing a guide for the construction of community mosques using local construction methods to achieve the principles of green architecture.
