Jurisprudence is the milestone of Mosque Architecture, since it dictates the mechanisms of Mosque Form generation. The Islamic civilization has been marked for its Generative Architecture, for its compliance with legislative framework; juristic codes and social norms that rule the bilateral bond of the individuals of a named community in part, and their surrounding environment including architecture in another.
Mosque Architecture Emulation Versus Deduction
This article refers to the Moroccan thinker Mohammed Abed Al Jabri’s Volume” Critique de la Raison Arabe”. This book postulates a vivid review of the grounds on which the Arab mindset has been founded and developed throughout the late 14 centuries, representing the era of the Islamic civilization. The acquisition of the ideological fabrication and fructification methodologies during the named era has been fundamental, to contemplate the development of Mosque Architecture right there.

I would like to owe the title of this article to Amos Rapoport’s 1960s masterpiece House Form and Culture. Rapoport is credited for being one of the poignant founders of the Environmental-Behavior Studies (EBS) in Architecture. Apparently, mosques; as Houses for Muslims; should conform to Rapoport’s cultural regulations and limitations; especially; those tackling the cultural influence on architectural forms, usage profiles and induced significance of this architectural frame of reference. The article is a continuum of the embarked discussion of the Futuristic Mosque Architecture prospective and Parallel Heritage Hypothesis.
